Chances are your header is heat soaking your starter. Try some insulation on the header.

depends on the car...

2.2 ohv... yup, right on...

2.2 eco, or 2.4 or 2.3... headers no where near the starter...

might actually be time for a tuneup if you got miles.

if your header is heat soaking your starter, there is always the option of having it ceramic coated...

When you say it is hard to start, do you mean that it cranks for a long time before it starts?
If this is the case, check your fuel pressure regulater hose. Pull it off with the car warm and not running, if gas comes out you need a new regulator.
Or it could be just like my car, crank it for a bit and tap the gas, starts right up when warm.
Now if it dosen't crank at all then I would say that it is heat soak.
