This is 18 bux at summitracing, I will be getting a pacesetter header and a 94035 cat to finish off my exhaust. Should I get the regular clamps or the band style, it will be welded later but not every joint, I want to be able to take it apart if I need to.

No, that is not a good resonator. That is a louvered-core glasspack, which i would suggest staying away from. I would look for the Dynomax Thrush Magnum glasspack. Its going to cost about the same, but it will flow much better because it is a perforated-core glasspack. The part number for the one you would want is WLK-24201. Its 2" longer and cost an extra $2. I hope that helps you.

A resonator is used in between your catalytic converter and your muffler (replacing some of the catback piping) to reduce buzzing and quiet down your exhaust, also deepens the tone. It's a good part to have after getting a header and catback, as they create more buzzing and raspiness.
