what is the gain from doing this conversion? although ive had my quad cavy for over a year now... ive only recently got motivated to mod it... so this info helps... thanks

its a big mod that takes alot of experience and knowledge to do right. unless you have done machine work before or know someone very well that does, i wouldnt recomend it. really unless you are planning on running some major r's....."which cannot be done unless u go with a standalone unit" then i wouldnt recomend it. it does give you some power gain but nothing thats gunna throw ur head back in the seat type of difference. best of luck to you buddy.
