Ricer ELIMINATOR!
how many miles do you have
do you use injector cleaner?
have your first o2 sensor gotten wire damage?
have you thrown any codes?
i'm willing to bet its the plasma thing.... never really been big on splicing in little small boxes, that are supposed to act like msd's and crane cam's fireball ignitions....
that can prob be whats leaning you out. i know the msd doesnt do this. but i;d try running it disconnected for a bit to see...
according to its site
Quote:
Easy installation:
* Install two Plasma Booster wires on the ignition coil
* Install one Plasma Booster wire to engine ground.
Benefits:
* 100% secondary current (Spark Amperage) increase
* 4 Times Spark Energy increase for the initial spark discharge
* Compatible with all OEM components
* Compatible with OBD-II (On-Board-Diagnostics)
Advantage:
* Instantly feel better throttle response
* Faster torque risetime
* Smoother running engine
* Fuel saving
what exactly is it doing to save fuel.... i know the msd and crane setups offer more complete combustion over a larger percentage of crank rotation, but whats this little box spliced into and what is it affecting was my first question....
i have 22.000 on the car and i havent ran any cleaner though it and i put in a new iat awhile back it was for my friends 2.2L 1998 cavalier could that be it or are the iat`s the same it hasnt throw any codes at all.
thanks james

Under Construction !
i;d honestly try removing that piece for a month and see how new plugs do it... pretty cheap fix...
if anything you;ve eliminated that as part of the problem and can start looking into other things such as the first o2 sensor,
