I have wanted to finish my exhaust for a while with a pacesetter header and a magnaflow 94035 cat but, I have also wanted better tires for a while because I hate the RSA's. I have been looking at the azenis sport, fusion zri and the dunlop fm901. I have only been able to get a 2.4 60' out of the rsa and I know I can do better with better tires. I can do either right now and in about a month I can do the other because I should be getting a bonus from work so, what would you do?

if you dont NEED tires, then i;d hold off... if you are bald then obviously tires.
but rsa's are really decent. whats your tire pressure. most people never bother messing with tire pressure when at the track and as a result have crappy 60 ft times, that or they arent that good with the clutch yet..
i know some people with the RSA's that can get 2.2 60 foot times. keep practicing
id get the header. then new tires if you actually need them
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I got these @!#$ty 5 year old 16" RSA's to a 2.29 60' with 37 psi in them.
But the track was prepped well.

Yeah, I don't need the tires, I just want better ones, I have 18000 miles on the RSA's. I bought some 95-99 z24 wheels to put the rsa's on for winter, just so whatever tire I bought I wouldn't have to worry about winter driving. I want to paint the z24 wheels anyway since they don't look the best. Well looks like I will be getting the exhaust finish, I am just buying the black one on ebay for 170 plus 15 to ship it, I will get the cat thru summit.

go ceramic.....trust me on this....
or atleast send it to jet hot or swain tech and get it coated...
do the header, then learn how to drive.... see the 60' in my sig? thats on RSA's that are smaller than yours, aired down to 15 psi. On a car that makes a buttload more tire-spinning torque than yours. Not saying it to toot my own horn, just make an example. All the mods in the world don't make up for crappy driving.

I know it cuts down on the heat and it may look better but, its just to much money to me.

do it right or dont do it at all ... go ceramic .. you wont regret it
if your gonna get the normal black one then get the tires instead
Gravana is the cheapest place for the armor coated one at 230 but they want 40 bucks to ship it, not worth it to me.

if you want your header to last, get ceramic, or else you WILL waste money.
15.891 @ 88 mph stock, still getting @!#$ty launches...
I would get the header as well. Also get ceramic. The way I see it is you will need tires and have to get them whe that time comes, get the fun stuff now.
The paint will peal off and the header will rust, unless you feel like sanding the whole thing down and spraying it with high temp header paint I'd say get the ceramic.

Ok, I will buy the armor coated one but why does gravana what $41 to ship the pacesetter, $30 for the rk and $23 to ship the dc sports header? They can be in a much bigger or heavier box.

maybe because they might not ship from Gravana but from the companies...maybe when you place the order..then Jim sends the order to pacesetter and pacesetter ships it to you
i dunno...could be one possible reason why though
