Not sure where to post this....

Okay, this has happened for the 2nd time and the first was expensive enough to fix, so anyways....my theft system came on for the 2nd time and is not allowing my car to start, i was wondering how i could if at all possible going about taking the theft system completely off, i'm not worried about someone taking my car for i live in a very small town in alabama, so if anyone could help me please do....Thanx!!!

maintanance wouldve been better but im not sure if you can remove it cause it goes through your ignition key cylinder if i remember right if it can be done i wouldnt think it would be the easiest

hmmm, if it is just doing it out of no where I would be giving the closest GM dealership a call.

Well, in case you need to know how to start your car after the theftlock comes on, here you are, from the Interior FAQ:

As for how to remove it completely, afraid I can't help ya'.
