I was reading a forum about ethenol and saw that the S-10/Sonoma 2200s from 2000 up could use E85. No my wife has a 1997 2.2 automatic Cavalier so I was thinking it would be possible to get the ECU and assorted fuel tank sensors from a S10 to work in her car. Anyone ever think of this or seen it done?
not sure about the 2.2s but i know some recent years of the eco were flex fuel compatible

The complication lies in the instrument panel and other peripheral devices. They may not communicate with the S10 pcm.
Also, the injectors are usually different on the flex fuel cars.
