I have a Sohc 1.9l engine (saturn sc1) and am looking to swap it for another engine. Iv heard that the 1.9l dohc is an easy swap just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Me and my friend are doing it ourselfs so please nothing crazy.

yeah best i can tell you is to look on a saturn board , but i cant imagine a dohc swap in yours would be that bad
Swap from SOHC to DOHC would be simple. The engine & trans. mounts are the same for both motors. So is the transmission, whether it's man. or auto. No fabrication required. PCM is different, so you would need to get one for a DOHC engine. If it doesn't come with all the sensors... you will need DOHC sensors.

If it's 91-94, the fuel pump is different. If it's 97-02 it's the same for either engine.
Fuel filter is different from 91-97. 98-02 is the same for both engines.
