I am installing my secret cams tomorrow morning and just need some clarification one one thing(I did help do someone elses secret cams last week) sp when I replace the timing chain tensioner and guides should these parts be oiled first?? becasue we dipped them last week and when we started it up his serpentine belt was making some squeaks so was it from the oil comming out by the crank? any help would be great I have a enw serpentine belt as well everything should go smooth cant wait till its done.

i doubt it was from oil coming from the crank.. it was probably something else, but apply some grease to both sides of the belt.. and then the noise will either be there for a very short time.. or not at all.. hope this helps.
