LS1 TB for 2.4L w/GM S/C
Monday, July 25, 2005 10:45 AM
My friend just bought a SLP TB for his 1999 Firbird Formula, which replaces the stock one. So he was asking if I wanted it?
His year was the last year before it went electronic, so his is cable actuated.

My question is will his stock TB fit the 2.4L with the GM S/C?
&
Does anyone know what is the size the stock LS1 TB?

Any feedback welcomed, especially if you have it on. ThanXs

A stock ls1 tb is 72mm. I know cause i'm running one on my ohv 2.2l. Both the tps, and IAC will just plug in and read just fine. but as far as it bolting right up, i highly doubt it. You'll probably have to make some sort of adapter plate to get it to work.

Yeah I would not go with a 62 on the GM charger. I would go with a 57-59mm
