which one would i be better to go with?
i know that the HO pump swap will free up some horsepower, but i'm affraid to screw up the block. I wont do this by myself but i have nobody that i really trust about that for doing this... so maybe i'm better with a high pressure pump from jbp. Anyone have it?
thanx!
mark has the jbp HP oil pump... his guage reads awesome pressure even during crank to start..
he says he's happy with it. I dont have the mods to dictate getting one, but in the future, im sure to get one.
so there is no pressure drop above 5k???
thanx for responding
not too sure... does the stock one drop off?
i heard that yes, it will drop at above 5k or neer 5k!
i want to put 086 head with HO cams and going to ob1 to bump up the rev limiter to 7k and dont want the pressure to fall a 5k....!!!!

why not just swap to the HO quad4? less hassle..
talk to JBP about the reflash to make the swap easy. good luck
Sven you totally quarterloafed your computer..
well... i have the 086 head already mod for the swap, already got lots of part to rebuilt my isuzu trans, already got clutch kot anf flywheel. i already got lots of parts that i think wont fit the 2.3, so i prefer to stick with the plan of 2.4 hybrid!
so... anyone with the jbp pump that have feedback?
maybe you could run a search through people's registries...
Or maybe even ask JBP if they'll provide email addresses for previous customers (with their consent of couse) so that you can ask them...
