Since gm didnt consider the effects of prolonged hard engine torquing on the stock exhaust, the flange that bolts to the header has a tendency to break the welds between the flange and the flex-pipe for the exhaust piping. what have people done to fix this problem with performance exhausts?
flex pipes fix the problem most of the time. i have solid mounts, no flex pipe, and no problems. but if you run into problems, you can always just have everything welded together.
