2.4L
5spd
2.3L 56mm

it was free, the instructions say to use the IAC sensor off of the stock 2.4L tb. on mine which was off I think a 93 grand am I had to use the 2.3L sensor cause the 2.4L sensor had a different size plunger on the end which caused it to idle high and low all the time. also I had to drill out the hole were the cable inserts, which was not on the instructioins either. as far as performance wise I wouldn't spend a hole lot of money on one because the gains aren't worth it, but "free" hp is the best type of hp.

RSM 62MM TB

Gave a nice midrange pull and worth the buy. Purchased it off an org member in the classifieds who was parting their car out before trading it in.

Hi Brian (SpeedracerZ). Friend that info is great. I didn't know that FDP makes 65mm TB for our cars. Are this ones still in production? or are adapted ones?

2200
56mm
3 speed

-engines that are stock can only take in so much air
-for the 2200 100% volumetric efficiency is actually around 48mm
-anything higher than 56, and sacrifice of low end is evident, granted you pull more up top, you are merely making up for what you lost down low.

main advice before choosing a tb for your car, try finding out its volumetric efficiency before picking something too large. more is not better in this case.

i made mine myself. i took a stock throttle body and grinded down the walls. the opening is still the same but it's a smoother transition than stock. and i grided down the bar the holds the plate. i took about 2-3 mm off each side. didn't notice much of a change at first but i gave a lot of time for the ecu to reset parameters so i didn't really test it out for a while. but afterwards there was definitely a noticeable gain.
definitely worth the $25 for the stock throttle body and two hours of work

01 2200
5 Speed
RSM 62

Awsome I've had it on for about 5hrs. and had to drive home 2hrs with it on the highway I nolonger downshift to pass people i leave it in 5th. I have noticed small drop off in low end but good gains from2500 up. I you go this big i would suggest having quite a few boltons first as its overkill or if you get a killer deal on one and will use it in the future for "Bigger Better Things"

2.4l
4 speed auto
rsm racing 59mm (measures to 60mm )

i think it helps alot when i put it on oppose to stock size, the car pulls alot harder i think and you can hear the air sucking in pretty loud.

May have given up some bottom end, but gained lots of top end. Complimented the P&P head and cams nicely.

I'm trying to find some info on the FDP 62mm, does anyone know how much they cost in the GP,and how long ago that was?

Not worth the money. Doesn't feel any different, just sounds noisier.

Hard to judge change, did it with full engine rebuild w/ cam, rockers, surfaced head and block(C.R. increase)balanced and blueprinted short block, etc....

Engine keeps pulling past the shift points, which are being worked on, as time and finances permit.
