I want to order a Throttle Body and when i asked about shipping the seller mentionned something about not sending my stock T/B for core change. What is the core and if i can't send it there for them to do it can i do it at a local garage.

Well someplaces (for example RSM) when you get their throttle body, they charge $150 more then the real price. Then when you install the TB after they send it to you, you send them your old throttle body and they give you the 150 extra you paid as store credit. With this place you don't have to send in your old throttle body so its less of a hassle.

As long as we are on the topic...

Should I be getting the Upper and lower manifolds when I get a TB from RSM? What difference will it make in performance?
