Intake Fittings

Well, i have a 2.2L 95-97 Cavalier and i have the cosmo intake and when i install it, it doesnt have the greatest fit. The intake kinda sits on the valve breather and that causes problems with both the hood and the hose beneath it. What kind of fitting can i use to move this down more? like a 45 degree elbow? can i was abs plastic? whats the best?

there isnt a best, its whatever works.

you can use any metal fitting, redrill the valve cover and put in a fitting on the side, higher up top wherever.
