What part of the intake hits the hood?

mine does too, that part right on the throttle body, we had to cut the supports out of the stock hood I had to get. my cf hood was cracking because of it

See if there is any room on the part of the intake that connects to the throttle body that could be cut down and just cut it. Mine hits barely but it's no big deal honestly.

My hood wouldnt close after I installed it out of the box. Had to cut it down to the point its just touching my hood and about 1mm away from pushing my throttle cable thingy. The fittment of this intake sucks big time, plus no where to mount a secure bracket.
Getting something other than a Weapon R, that will solve the problem. Make sure it is the right one.
I would be really pissed if my intake cracked my CF hood. just had to say.

i just shaved the rubber conector boot down on the TB to intake pipe section
