Okay

i currently have a 2.5" catback with the 2.5" hi-flow cat...

was wondering how you all with the 2.5" pipe get a header on? the pipings are usually different sizes...

i think most people just lifted the car up. took off the old header. put on the new one

but if you are not sure. have an exhaust shop do it for you

its a "flange" ..its gets welded on the downpipe and bolts up to the end of the header....
did i explain that right?

you'd have to get the pipe flared to fit the new size, it can be stretched .25" max, shops have the equipment to do this

14.82 @ 97 mph

What the other Jason said. Also, most shops should carry adapters or fittings to do inline size changes. It's not a big deal, any shop can deal with it.

I would say something about 2.5" being too big, but it's useless at this point.
