ok here is the deal, i have the Ho mani beig machine for the stud hole right now and i said myself, i'll try to unplug the egr see how it affect performance since i have read that people just unplug it and get use to the check engine. so i unplug the egr to see and now its been 2-3 days i'm running without egr and i still have no check engine and it is running exactly like before!!!! what the hell... i thought that i was suppose to get at least the check engine for sure! why dont i have any? i have a 97 z24.

you just unplugged it? Maybe since you havent removed the EGR itself. Or maybe you unplugged the wrong thing.

im sure i unplug the egr, nothing else! I dont think i have to remove it itself. the computer cant read it anymoore since its unpluged and should give me a check engine!!!

give it time you will see a check engine light.

Maybe the bulb is burnt out....

the bulb is not burned i had a check engine for bad intake cam sensor not too long ago.
Its been more than a week now and still no check engine!!!!
i would like to know why! i mean i should have one.....
something is going wrong and would like to know what.

anyway, i have installed the HO mani yersterday with the egr block off plate, and everything is fine, no check engine!
