aem ecotec weird sound Q?

i installed my cai last week and when i hit the gas between 1800 3000 rpm it make a high pitched sound ... i checked for vacuum leak but all is ok ...

any sugestion??? ill put back my stock intake to see if i got the same sound

it's just air flow man. every car makes a "wierd" noise at some point or another with an aftermarket intake that flows really well. don't worry about it.

Actually AEM is somewhat known for that "chooom" sound.

anyone get the almost bov sound when shifting at redline? ...that may be due to the throttle body spacer i put on before i knew it did nothing though

exactly what mine does but at 1800-2500 rpm a little bit in 1st more in 2nd and almost nothing in 3-4-5
