I really cant search for the answers on here right now because I'm on balls slow cell phone internet, so help me if ya know......
My fuel pump in the 88 Z24 stopped working. So I figured I 'd throw in an MSD inline pump so I didnt have to drop the tank.
Some questions however...
1. is the fuel filter on the return line or the pressure line? It looks like the easiest place to mount it would be between the filter and the tank.
2. Will this pump pull fuel through the stock pump if it isnt working?
I already have the pump. Just need to check those couple things before I start.
Thanks...
1: Pressure side, don't want to send dirt to the injectors...
2: Depends on how your pump failed, either way, sucking it through the old pump will be VERY hard on the inline, it wasn't designed for that, so it probably won't last long. This is something I'd do maybe for a week while I found the time to drop the tank.

Oh yeah, and Art, wanna buy a brand new MSD fuel pump when I get home? If I gotta drop the tank anyway, no point in using the MSD.
