Ok i have a 2001 cav z24. Want to replace my muffler with a straight flow single tip. Looking on ebay... any suggestions as to whats good and what's crap. I know that magnaflow's are good but i don't know which fits and such. I don't one something that's going to sound like a weed wacker either. Please help, suggestions help me out ALOT.

had same problem with my 2004 i wanted a little more sound but without the weedwacker on crack like all the hondas anound here have. magnaflow makes a great muffler but remember any straight thru flow you get the main amount of noise comes from what kind of tips you use. i tryed the stainless apc type you can get at pepboys not too bad. just didn't care for that "import" look then i tryed a flowmaster with a single
in and two outs it was great but then i had to take a two hour ride up the highway and lets just say that the flowmastet came off that weekend and i tryed an afterburner almost as bad as the flowmaster so i had a y pipe put in and now i'm running two
2 1/2 inlet and 2 1/2 outlet $20.00 mufflers from advance the fact that there cheap lets a little sound thru but it wont kill you. botom line is unless you can here it in person and go for a ride in the car then its just opinion.

Just get any flow through that looks good to you and get a resonator.
