I have the 02 and i see by the instructions that it mounts on the back of the motor on top, i was wondering is enought hood clearance for a 02, because i know the hoods are diffrent. And dose any one have any noticable power gain from them. ill try to put a like on here but if it dosent work here is it. gives me some ideas for brackets, hypsy has it I believe

Hood clearance will be close the 03s do have more hood clearance generally, I think the coil placement is poor its in the highest heat area of the engine. Not to mention the kit looks somewhat homemade, id expect something better from an aftermarket company, me just being an average joe has made a more attractive kit with the msd

i have the kit. the only problem with it is CURRENTLY (were working with them to correct it) is the CMP signal. your going to need the MSD Cam Sync Generator just like you'd need for a MSD setup. Kit looks really nice installed and performs really well. Definately a difference in the output voltage on the osilliscope too.

well is shouldnt be hard to solve. just requires the purchase of another part. LOL. i dont know if its worth it yet because of this issue. when the ECU cant get a CMP signal it cant sync the fuel injectors to the spark plug firing so it goes to a default setting. if the MSD part fixes that then yes it will be worth it. Ill keep you updated as i go.

msd is far away to be plug and play and cost much more than nology (i think) thats why it may perform better

msd powers my cleveland powered Mach 1 mustang, and it powers my 65 chevy corvair flat 6... does damn good on both of them.. itll do just as good on my cavi.. msd has a good name going for them on balls out performance.. nothing else comes close.. that i have found.. but remember youll only get more ponies to the pavement with ignition only if you need it.. but a mostly stock motor doesnt have the need for an HO ignition system
