i have never heard of anyone having any trouble with any of the pacesetter products. and if you buy a header to fit a 2001 sunfire 2200 engine, then it should bolt on with no problems.

the only problem is, you might want to set up somthing with the local shop to get your exhaust done the same as you intall your header. this is because (and correct me if im wrong because im not too familiar with sunfires) but i dont know if the header downpipe will match up to the cat and the rest of the exhaust.

good luck, hope this helped!

I've got a problem with my pacesetter header. I've had it for about 5 months, and all it does is sit in my garage, waiting for me to get off my ass and install it. It sucks.

The probelm with my pacesetter header is it's for the 2200 engine that was in my Cavalier that dies a few months ago & won't fit the Ecotec in my 04 Sunfire No worries, that'll be fixed here VERY shortlly though.

From there it's just a matter of getting the money to have my exhause installed. What I had set aside for that now has to goto my insurence dedectuable & traffic ticket
