Hey I was wondering if anyone has tried 2 1/4" exhaust to a same size in/out Dyno Max Bullet on a 2200 and what it sounded like. I had a buddy that put one of those on a 1.8L Tracker and it sounded nice. Of course, he ran his with barely any piping and burned up the valves. That had a lot to do with the aggressive sound, but I'm not really a big fan of burning up my valves lol so I'm runnin piping all the way back.

you won't burn any valves if you keep a catalytic converter on it and run your piping all the way back. just about the only way to screw up your valves is running open head or very very short exhaust on a cold day.

Yeah im gonna go with a high flow cat also, most likely a Magnaflow, and a 4-2-1 Pacesetter or OBX header. Im wondering what kinda gains I'll see by just freeing up the exhaust.
