TB replacement for eco

Does any one know what a good replacement for the eco throttle body. I was wonderig if there was any way I could get around just buying a bigger one. also if I were to bore out the actual shaft of mine would it be possiable to use a differnt arm.

no buying a bored out stock one is your best bet unless you do the gm performace intake mani and put a LS1 TB on there but thats way over kill

not sure if anyone has checked out the other EcoTec engines yet....... Saab, Opel........ not sure about them.

As far as this, Opel you really can't get any parts from them and even if you could, I'd bet it's the same size or smaller which wouldn't do you any good. Also you wouldn't know if it will actually fit properly. With Saab, it will probably be the same size.

Your best bet is buying the RSM Racing 62 mm Throttle body. You can purchase it at www.highrevmotorsports.com or check out the Classifieds for someone who might be selling theirs. I bought mine real cheap off someone who was parting thier car out of the Classifieds.

Just to let you know, it would be a pain in the ass and somewhat risky for you to pay someone to bore it out because they would actually need to make a new plate to fit that bore size. If they don't do it properly, you will idle high and have other issues.
