Pacesetter??

I was lookin into the pacesetter ceramic coated header but i thought i remeber someone saying once that they had problems with it hitting the tranny or sumthin. . i have a 97 2.2(3- speed junk) n wonderin if this was true because then i try to get the DC header

i have the pacesetter ceramic coated header on my 97 2.2 with the 3 speed auto and i've had no problems with it hitting anything. it fit perfectly and gave my car some top end power.

its not ganna hit your tranny....pretty good product. i liked mine...

Never heard of it hitting the tranny. We have some in stock let me know if interested.

only trans i even kinda remember haveing a problem was the 4spd auto because its alot longer and bigger than the 3spd


and i havent heard a 4spd problem in along time

Go with the Pacesetter---no problems hitting anything. Also, buy from Turbo Tech Racing---excellent service.

My buddy got that hearder and had no problems and he has a 98 z24

thanx alot ofr all of the feedback.. . i guess it was someone with a 4spd then that was complaining

also, ill be gettin back to you soon Aaron about purchasing that header

i got a 01 with a 5 speed and the only thing it would hit was the cross member that went from the tranny to the motor in front so i took the bar off .no more problem
