I finally bought an intake for my `04 cav. I purchased a K&N typhoon short ram and couldn`t be happier. The install was easy,it only took me 45 minutes. What a difference it made. Last week at the track the best time I turned was 16.241 @ 84.90 mph. Yesterday after I installed the intake my best of the night was 15.938 @ 87.68 mph. The numbers speak for themselves, I guess K&N`s advertised gain of 5hp at the wheels is bang on.
got one in the mail. i don't like my weaponR hope it is better.

High times for an eco, but good to hear you like it.
ive had the typhoon intake for about 8 months now...like it alot. 15.9-16.2 high times for an Eco?? maybe for a stick car. my 04 best is 16.84@77mph. guess being an auto 4 door with every option possible makes for a heavy car...or i got a weak motor.

I thought 15.9 was a pretty good time for an `04 5 speed eco. I run at a pretty high elevation so I think if it was corrected for atmospheric conditions it would be 15.4 or .5
