just wondering how much some of you guys have invested in your car so far? AND, was the money more towards performance or style?

...oh and that includes body kit, paint, wheels....AND everything was legit, nothing stolen/smuggled or handled illegally
over 4 grand. it doesn't show as well as I wish it would. most of it is no longer on the car. mostly towards style/show though.
around 3500...really wish you could see it all haha...mostly performance. But bodykit and fenders and hood and projectors will put me to about 5000 or so not including paint

Around $600 in all looks, the only thing I spent on performance was $45 for an air filter, LOL
a hair under $3000, not counting anything that was taken off, or that will be taken off in the future. all performance.

invested? nothing. Heres my math: my pockets - money / car= expense
Seriously about 2,000 or more (wheels, suspension, seat, steering wheel, sound)
suspension= 380
performance=2100
exterior= about 4000 with wheels, rims, kit and painted and other misc @!#$.
system=1800 valued at 3200 (friend works at best buy)

So far for last like 6 years I say about $15,000.
3 sets of rims and tires, OHV motor to start, then Nitrous, then 2.4L 4 speed, then Nitrous, then built 2.4L 5 speed tranny SWAP, Turbo, then Ecotec SWAP, Tranny SWAP , Turbo.
Been through about 4 motors and 4 trannies.
1st Quad cost me $1000 4 speed tranny $600
Nitrous $400
Second was free but the cost to build it was about $3500 (by me)
Isuzu 5 speed tranny swap $1100.
Ecotec cost me about $300
Getrag tranny $500 and everything else another $500
1st set of rims $1000
2nd 18's were $1750
3rd $450 light 16's
4th 15's with SLICKS lol $10 for rims and about $100 for slicks.
Now there was CF hood $450 and Bomes front bumper$300.
Man I can't write it all so far $13,000.
So now that I think about it how bout another $2200 for the Turbo kit and another $500 for tunning $150 AFC $200 tach, $200 gauges.
That is $16,200, about 70% of things, so I say I am about $21,000, so $3500 a year!! lol

Exterior appearance + Interior appearance + Suspension + Engine Performance + Audio System + Labor = Approx. $10,000.
Somewhere around $1500 all in performance. Just bought a header for $180 shipped though, so that brings it up to just about $1700 and hopefully a much lower timeslip.

$1267, so far thats interior paint, Leds, new stereo and sub(cheap) and ALOT for my clutch,flywheel and tranny mounts. Getting ready to start a project on a 91 talon that will be PURE performance, the cavys gonna be all style and with another 3500 in mods planned for both cars i'm gonna be broke for A LONG time
