hey i have the 2.3 ho cams sitting in my garage and i was wondering what is the estimate of gains from doing this, 10hp maybe? and is all i do is open up the 2.4 and swap the cams in or is there other things i must change before the engine will work correctly? thanks

i also have the lifters sitting with me also, do i need 2.3 valve springs to and other stuff?

Neither cam will work.

To use the exhaust cam you will have to have the HO cam carrier and to use the intake cam you will have to have the hex drive put on one end and a CPS installed on the cam. Not worth it. Also I think your cimputer will freak out with that high of a cam.

In order to do the secret swpa you need a 92 exhuast cam and a 95 intake cam. That will just install and work great.

Intake, any 95 DOHC 2.3L motor (Grand am, Sunfire, Cavalier, Beretta)

Exhaust, 90-94 DOHC 2.3L LO motor (Grand am, Beretta)
on exhaust 8th vin# must be D

the retta had the Ho so don't look for that. You want to look for the exhaust cam from a GA, calais, cutlass supreme, Skylark or Achieva.
