i'm sure it's been asked but i couldn't find anything in a search so here goes....
my after cat o2 sensor, and the cat itself, are toast...sensor doesn't read cuz there's a hole in the cat (Wisconsin winters, gotta love them)....new sensor is about $100 and a cat is $50 or so plus the cutting and welding cuz the stock bolts are rusted on real good....
price is starting to add up and since i'm in an area that doesn't have emission testing i need to know if an o2 sim does what it sounds like it does ...i can spend the cash on that and just remove my cat completely and replace it with normal pipe
all of the wideband o2 stuff i've found has an o2 sensor with it, i'm looking to find if there is anything that will just send the signal to the computer....is this possible or not
an o2 sensor should NOT be $100 for your cat...

Actually if you get a AC delcom one they are about $130 for the second one.

you can get the O2 simulator, it works as its supposed to. But you are gonna end up spending money trying to quite your car down when its gonna be running with no cat. conv.

Not having mommy and daddy pay for everything = priceless
noise won't be a problem for me...any opinions on who makes the best sim...if you couldn't already tell, this is all fairly new to me

replacement ones from auto parts stores should run not more than 40-60$.... alot of times with acdelco, you pay for the name, sometimes not....
considering your mod list 2 wheels, you;d be better off WITH the cat if you have any performance in mind.

Bosch universal ($17)
Bosch OE ($24)
