i got my rsm crank pulley in and when i got it, it had no harmonic balancer and i can't remove the stock one to put on this one. i wanted to know if anyone has had a problem running it without the hb or should i just slap this one on and call it a day?
If it's too loud, you're too old!!
what does the harmonic balancer have to do with the crank pulley?
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
i was told that it kept the crank pulley balanced. and also i am being told that the rubber like thing on the inside of the pulley is the balancer. am i wrong?

Not really. Crank pulley is just that. A harmonic balancer, reduces vibes from the engine through the rubber "band"

its not the same thing there is a harmonic balancer on the stock CRANK PULLEY but on the aftermarket crank pulley there isnt one............
its ok to run it like that with no balancer
i don't know of any lightened or underdriven crank pulley's that have a harmonic balancer... you'll be fine without it... i've had my pulley on for awhile now with no problems and many have had an aftermarket pully on for alot longer than i have...
