Ok, well alot of big time racing engines incorporate a vacumm pump. The use low tension oil rings to free up some friction but they cause so oil blowby, so the vac pump will increase the rings ability to seal, so you get good seal and lower friction and more power. Now i have been thinking about fabing one up on my 2.2L build up to help the little motor make all the power it can, i figure just alittle vac can really help, not run it so high that it sucks the oil out of the head or anything.
What do some of you that have built your own engines think? Just looking for feedback.
