Do upgraded headers make a big difference in power? ANyone upgrade their ecotect headers?
yes upgrade your HEADER makes a difference. also allows the engine to breath better
and lots of people upgrade the HEADER on the Eco. look at the performance FAQ at the top of this forum for links and info

OMFG yourself. I was also wanting people's opinions on there own headers and was going to ask a few questions about install also, so that is why I just put the whole post on here.

Yes, it does make a very good difference in power, it's even greater with the rest of the exhaust system upgraded (catalytic converter, catback piping & muffler). It's defenitely worth the upgrade and it will put a smile on your face.

Yes, I have and that's why I can say it is a good upgrade. I personally have the weapon-r 4-2-1 header style. If your interested in that header, you can check out

I have the Pacesetter header myself. made a nice difference. I went with the Pacesetter because I read a lot of stories about people having various problems with the Weapon-R/RK Sport. Just search for the different headers in this forum, there's a lot of info to be had--that is how I came to my decision
yup..it makes a difference. also the header contributes to making the exhaust louder
