I'm a new member. I have made quite a lot searches for my issue in here and in Google with no luck.

I have a Cavalier 1983 with 2.0L OHV. This is quite a basic question: Is it possible to swap a 2.0L OHV to 2.8 or 3.1 V6 without any modifications to mountings? I have read that it is possible to do it in later models but how is the case in 1983 when the V6 was not available for Cavalier?
