well i was bored and already in my garage takin the plate off and remembered reading a post on taking this thing out..... and for anyone else who took it out.... was it a severe pain in the ass, i just drove it again after i took it off and i mean i didnt feel ne thing lol but i guess less restriction is good even if it isnt noticable
it really isnt that big a deal.
the same amount of air that passed through the filter, restrictive hose, etc... is still the same.
you get more noise...
this is usually a mod newer guys do to start getting familiar with the car....

there puttin a 599/600 lift cam in it i dunno the duration or ne other specs all i kno is its gonna be so hot sounding and im definitely buyin a ticket to get in line for a ride.
dont know what the specs are on a stock ls1 cam, but i do know compared to my cam, thats over double.
