My 2.2L has 130,000miles and the transmission is getting a lot less than perfect... i would like to swap a 2.4 ecotec into my 97 RS... i know a lot more is involved than taking an engine out and putting another in.. but if someone could give me a place to start that would be great
You mean the 2.2 ecotec? If you want more help, look in the third gen section. There's lots of info in there about the eco swap.

i dont think the 2.4 Ecotec aint out yet. not until next year. you can swap in a 2.4 that was in the Z24s. that might be the "easiest" swap you can do. or swap in a 2.2 ecotec
