So im in the market for an exhaust system. I was looking at the rksport single muffler cat back. Ive been searching around and I can across this. Has any one heard of it? How is it? What do you think for a custom cat back.http://www.aero-turbine.com/?flash=1

Just stay with that idea...go rksport over that. Stay with companies more J-body related.

Custom is fine if you get it mandrel bent. It's really up to you what you want to do...just make sure that person knows what they are doing. Personally, if your n/a, your better off buying an rksport setup (which is 2 1/4") piping than making one which will take allot of time and probably cost you more (if it's mandrel bent).

(thread's a little old now, I know...)
I've got an Aero-Turbine 2540i on my 1990 3.1l and it sounds good, albeit loud. I think the design of the Aero-Turbine mufflers requires more airflow than our engines produce to muffle properly though. It gets a fair bit quieter after 2700rpm or so, when a lot more air/exhaust is moving through it. A year or two ago I saw a TV show on the Speed channel called Two Guys Garage where they put one on a pickup truck (F-150 perhaps) with a fair-sized V8 in it, and they claimed it was barely louder than stock, but sounded a lot nicer. When I got one put on my car it was incredibly loud compared to the stock-style muffler, and very raspy. I didn't have a cat on there, though, which didn't help. I had a (12" or 14"?) resonator put on and it killed pretty much all the raspiness and quieted it down a fair bit, too. It's still on the loud side, but it's livable. Gave the 3.1 a nice rumble. I've got a few videos on google video if anyone's interested in hearing it on my car, but it won't really give you any idea how it would sound on a 4 cylinder I guess. I made one right after I got it put on, and when I got the resonator installed after that. And another driving up and down my street to hear how it sounded driving conservatively down the road. (I can't reach google video at the moment for some reason, or I would've just thrown in the links in this post.)
