what can i do for a little
little bit more pep from my 2.2 while the head will be off ?
my head gasket is starting to leak a lil bit so i will need to remove the head
also i dont really want to spend more money than necessary (less than 100$)and wait 3 weeks before gettign a part!
have a couple thousand's shaved off to up the compression a bit. just dont go overkill.
is all this under 100$ candian and take like less than 3 days to do ?
less than 100, prolly not. I think the valves are 100 US from Karo with free shipping, but within 3 days I doubt you'll get anything done except shaving some thousandths off like mentioned above. That should be around 50 US, and it's a quick way to give a little more pep, but not much. The machine shop will know what is safe to shave.
When it comes to doing a little something inside the motor for under $100, your looking at pretty much nothing BUT the headgasket...you can get a Cometic MLS headgasket for about $80 but that's it. Sorry...
