Anybody running Flowmaster?

Is anybody on here running a flowmaster muffler?
What kind of sound are you getting from a 4 cylinder?

Does it sound like a wounded duck?
or does it sound a little deeper?

I have the 50 series delta flow as well, but if you run with the flowmaster, get a resonator, I have a 23" one and it took out all the crappy cold starting sounds and I am much happier with it. Course I also have a header too which, adds to the raspy tones.

I had flowmasters and if you want GOOD sounding mufflers and Better flowing mufflers, Go Magnaflow. I did and don't regret it one bit. Sounds tons better and flows even better.

i also have a flowmaster delta flow i dont remember the series i like the sound except when cold. Did any of you guys replace the cat. I know babyboy put a 23" resonator on but did you change any other piping. Im planing on a header and am having problems finding someone to mandral bend my piping. I would like 2.5"

I have 2.25 piping, which is plenty unless you boost it, a high flow magnaflow cat, obx header, flowmaster, and resonator.

how big is your resonator. Im looking at a rksport 421 header and a highflow cat. Any info would be great thanks

I myself also use a Flowmaster. Its a 80 series crossflow. I used a 24 inch glasspack(resonator) after the cat along with 2.25 inch piping all the way back. The exhaust sounds really good. Alot deeper than alot of cars with exhaust systems around here. Its farely quite unless u get into it then it gets louder but not as loud as others.
Best exhaust system that ive had on this car yet. I get alot of compliments on how it sounds and and how the "dual exhaust" looks on it. If your looking for the dual exhaust look try the 80 series out. Looks god and you only use one muffler. Saves on a bit of weight.

You really don't need a reasonator. If you have a good muffler, it shouldn't come out too raspy. You have a 4 cylinder so raspyness is a given, don't try to fight it too much.

I have a 2004 cav auto with a short ram. Stock header, cat, and resonator. I am running a 40 series flowmaster and think it sounds great. it is a 2.25" inlet and a "custom" 3" outlet. the pipe had to be flared out from stock to fit the inlet and i cut the outlet pipe about 1" past the case of the muffler. It is extremely loud and deep. The cops leave me alone because it sounds deep and healthy not whiny like a ricer.

is the difference in power noticeable going with a flow-master. I had a ricer crap muffler for like 4 days and i hate it already. Not to mention the loss of power. I was just wondering if going with a flow-master over the crap i have not will make a difference.

Just go Magnaflow and you'll be satisfied.
