both have the same part numbers. i know its not perfect, but the most definate i can research on right now. not 100% sure, but atleast 97%

yes it will work..... the only difference is that the 2000+ started is ALOT smaller and lighter than the 98 version....

YES it will, the 99- S/C guys do this to make room for the S/C.

i have a 01 starter on my 97 , and karo had a 00-02 starter on his s/f


other than size they work

karo still has , and is using the starter , my had was susposed to be HAS

I SUCK AT TYPING

My 99 has the newer starter on it.

the 99's were the first year

99-00 are the same gm part # , and the 01-02 are the same


but they look the same
