I know that there is probably a couple post on this already but, which one is better? I see the nology is cheaper but I dont want to pay for POS quality. I know that MSd is a great company but If the nology does the same thing as msd then shouldnt I get that instead? any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance
that kinda depends on what you are talking about... wires? coils? DIS?
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
MSD is better , doesnt matter what the product is , it just is

nology has some new wires that r really good. they dyno a Subaru with them and got 15hp
15hp from wires. Is that even possible?!
New sig in the works
it is when a car is running crappy stock wires, or old worn wires, and then you replace em with new wires...
not to mention the car is running like mass amounts of power.
theres really no magic parts. its like, eating wheaties doesnt make a person a great athlete, but if the person is already a professional perfecting his diet can make a great leap in performance, but giving wheaties to a couch potato isnt gonna make him into a great athlete, much less and athlete at all.
all the cars you guys read about, where small small things gaind 10-50HP the cars had bad or used or restrictive parts to begin with, and then the car itself has way more power than the avg car most times.
like the hiper grounding kits. one commercial gained 15whp with the kit, in fine fine print it stated that it was also a car with nearly 600whp...
as for msd vs nology, i;d go msd, but nology is stepping up as of late.
i went to the dealer show and saw it with my own eyes these wires have something like a capacitor on them to increase the spark

all that is is a ground wire...
as long as your car is properly grounded, unlike some imports which arent (hence the whole 100-150$ hypergrounding kit market explosion) then your spark should be fine.
keep in mind though that test is done against stock wires, you get more electricity through on wires with lower resistance as well. sometimes even more.
i just had the nology system on my car for a week. i had to take it off. the kit was nicely made and all but the damn CMP code it kept throwing was pissing me off. i guess its time to go back to the drawing board with them on this.
it did increase the voltage though and it did come out quicker (less degrees rotation) not sure if thats good or bad though

I was talking about coils. It seems to me that msd is the better choice from what you are all saying. should I get the dis and coils or do I need just one or the other?
the dis 2 is gonna raise price drastically.
what you need is depending on you wanna do or want.
coil packs are replacements, dis2 is an upgrade part in itself.
Hypsy were you getting the 340 code?

i had MSD's and they messed up and are only a few months ago.. I am getting NOlogy wires in a couple days waiting for them
yes indeed roddy. i think im gonna wait for someone to make the DIS2 work 100% then install that instead
