2.25" flex pipe

i stopped by napa today for flex pipe and was told it was illegal to use on exhausts (Pennsylvania). is this bs or are they right?

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha tell hem to look under his car i am sure it prob. has one i think all cars have them so when the motor flex's it doesn't brake some thing ....they come on all the j-bodys stock......

that's what i thought. anyone know how long of flex pipe i will need to use from a pacesetter head (cut off before the taper) to the high flow cat?

i would go with a little one i am not sure it it matters i would look at all of them and get the middle one to make sure it has enough flex but not to much and not to little ya know

currently on ebay they have a 6" (10" overall) and 8" flex (12" overall)

where are these places you people go to? really? flex pipes are stock on many cars.

my 8" stainless steel flex pipe came from exhaustdepot.com

Ok in Pennsylvania Flexible exhaust pipe is not legal and will not pass inspection, but a flex pipe (a short woven stainless piece to absorb engine movement). They were confused between a flex-pipe and flexible exhaust pipe.

Yeah, PA has some weird laws.
