i know they have a fuel lag after like 5300PRM's how do i getv rid of it?
Fuel lag?
New sig in the works
like your motor starts bogging down
if u ever look at a dyno sheet from a 2200 motor it has a fuel cut off kinda at around 5200 RPM's ..it's on all of them and i was wondering if u could bypass it
dont think thats fuel lag, but more so the end of the powerband. redline is 6k
^^^^ Bingo. It is normal for all engines to have a "power band" in a specific section of the dyno graph. That's where power peaks and then drops off. I'm not sure there is anything you can do to eliminate that drop off. It's not a result of fuel lag I don't believe- though you might try upgrading your fuel delivery system and letting the rest of us know how that affects the dyno chart.
I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but at least I'm a pretty color
i will it's my g/f's car any way and i think she wants a faster motor like doing a 2.4L swap
2.2L ohv 3 speeds running just as fast as z24;s stock with basic boltons.... check justin cox's registry. 15's.
Fuel lag
Listen to what the people above you said. If there was such a thing as "fuel lag" You would be running extremely lean and most likely blowing a motor. Your simply seeing the motor run out of its power band as stated above. There is no such thing as fuel lag.
well it does lean out a little bit after 5300RPM's or so
