OK, I have a CAI, the next thing is the exhaust--2.4L '97 Cavalier LS. I want to keep this car street legal, but race it on the drag strip as well. I want to do a cat-back exhaust, but should I also get a racing/high flow cat? Will I see any changes on the strip compared to the stock cat? Also, what would be a good size exhaust, I am guessing 2 1/4, single outlet exhaust....any other suggestions? Thanks guys!

i would. i have a carsound cat. i would also recoomend getting a header too. ceramic coated is best IMO
and 2.25 inch piping is good enough. no need to go higher unless you plan on boost or nitrous

the stock cat on a 2.4l is a high output cat put since you are driving a 97 then it would be beneficial to get a new cat
