Too much for pulley???
Friday, May 13, 2005 6:55 AM
I just installed my 8500k HIDs and I have an underdrive pulley on the way. Is the underdriveing going to be a problem with my lights. Also, I know this is off the topic but how bright are your HIDs?? Whats the rating?

that's too much. 6500k is perfect for an HID kit. but damn. that's going to piss a lot of people off. i'm curious, what HID kit is this and where did you find it? and no, your pulley shouldn't be a big deal. if you found yourself running into any problems, pick up a grounding kit.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

I forgot what heat range my are, but to my understanding HID's actually pull less power from the battery than traditional bulbs do. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

http://www.xenondepot.com is where I belive my kit came from.

My lovely girlfriend bought them from a friend of mine who had them on his Durango R/T. I just looked at the box and they are 8000k, not 8500k. They are crazy bright. Almost too bright and I don't like haveing no high beam/low beam, its just on. Still great though. I do a lot of driving on dark roads at night and they make a world of difference.
They came from www.xenondepot.com. I have the brightest lights on a J in this province!!
