do i need to take the 2.4L tps off of the old TB and put it on the 2.3 TB
can somoene please make a list of the correct sensors i need to use for a 2.3L IM and 2.3L TB
if you are using the 2.3 TB use the 2.3 sensors, the only 2.4 sensor you should use is the MAP sensor. All the other sensors should be 2.3.
what about the sensor that plugs into the intake tubing?
im trying to find out whats making me burn fuel.. something is messing up my air/fuel and i thought it might be the TPS
i tryed unplugging the EGR Sim to see if that was the problem but all that did was made my car die about a mile down the road
you can always relocate your IAT. That's what that sensor is. it plugs into the intake tube of course.
as far as I know I don't know anyone that has thrown a code for a misplaced IAT just relocate it somewhere. I've heard somewhere that it's somewhat safe to relocate it near the front of your vehicle. but as to this I am unsure... I read it somewhere on Teamforwardmotion.com. Don't know where exactly.
But yeah if you use your 2.3 TB then use your 2.3 Sensors.
I haven't done mine but this is what everyone tells me to do with them.
don't know why you're running more fuel running overly rich eh? no clue here. hopefully someone will have more imput.
yeah its running too rich..... black exhaust smoke
Fuel isn't my forte but I'm gonna give it a shot. I really have no idea why you could be running rich....
your ECM might be getting a bad reading from your O2 sensor?
Check your sparkplugs?
checked your air filter?
Fuel filter?
Fuel pump maybe?
Blocked cat?
when i installed my ho intake i used my 2.4 tps. and it worked great
just leave the IAT sensor in the intake tube where it belongs. having it in the bumper or wherever for the sake of getting cooler is only going to make the computer dump more fuel than needed making you run richer.
yeah i wasnt gonna relocate the IAT
i picked up a brand new TPS sensor and im gonna try that.... thats gotta be it....
So your using the 2.3 IAC and TPS now? how did that work out? check engine light?
