98-01 2.2 = 2200 OHV (LN4)
95-97 2.2 = 2.2 OHV (LN2)

your friend has a 2.4 engine. you have a 2200. 2 completely different engines. so nothing would match up. except the lower mount....i think

you need to fix your sig. max size is 500x200. your's is well over 800 in height. a good 600 too many. just helping you out, cuz you'll get a warning and possibly a one day ban for it.

you will never be able to compete with a 2.4 when you have a 2200. end of story. but if that doesnt bother you, then read on.

for hte 2200, you can get the motor mounts, full exhaust , intake, throttle body, 'ported' intake manifold, underdrive pulleys, maybe some thicker spark plugs. those seem to be the majority of the small bolt ons.

for more power, and much more money, you can port and polish your head, which would go great with a new cam. or you can turbo, supercharge, or nitrous your motor. if you go that route, you might as well build a new one from the bottom up

even with all the bolt ons for this engine you might be able to keep up with a 2.4 that is stock. but if you want to beat one, and nitrous or boost

In my opinion the single best mod for the money with a 2200 is to swap it for an LD9. check http://www.woodfins.com you can get a used LD9 delivered for about 1200 bucks. That's what I'm looking at doing with mine, still trying to sort out what all else I'll need and get the money saved up.
