ok guys i have a 2000 cavi. it has a 2.4 in it and i blew it up. but i cant find one cheap to replace. but yet i find 2.2 ecotec engines evrywhere. but my ? is will a ecotec fit directly in. but what would be better the eco or just the twin i need help i haft to have this car done by nopi thanks

Since it had a 2.4 before it will probably be easier to go that route again since i am pretty sure going from 2.4 to the ECO isn't all that easy. Plus theres already lots out there for the 2.4 in terms of aftermarket performance. That said the ECO will have tons of aftermarket performance parts for it too, if it doesnt already.
I realize that probably doesnt help much, personally I would stay with the 2.4 because its got more power to start out with.
