is there any special trick im missing in order to get a cone filter to fit on the oval piece with connects to the tb? right now i have to connected to it using a coupler and i would lie to put it directly on there so it doesnt accidently fall off and i suck something in to the engine.

it'll perform worse than a short ram... it'll sound cool but it doesn't do much. besides... where are you going to put your IAT sensor?

just shove it on real hard and tighten up the clamp.......and the iat sensor will stay in its current place, on the ecotec intake it sits in the box on the tb, which he is leaving there, just putting a filter on the end instead of the s tube
