Maybe a 26-30" resenator to keep it quiet? If the exhaust system doesn't come with a muffler, get the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler, other than that, good choices, IMO.

yea it does. the SLP is a full catback. Hope i dont run into problems trying to run it to the cat. the slp is made for a v6 but it should be ok. i have the superturbo on right now with the stock res. to quite for me. im going to try it and if its too loud ill but one on. thanks for the reply

Ok...well first off, do not put header wrap on a header.

and second...if you are going to be putting a turbo on there, why buy a header? Unless the turbo is years down the road.

Finally, with a header, I would recommend a resonator.

I have the SLP on my 2.4L Malibu and I am pretty sure you are going to want a resonator put on. I was pretty loud for me and I din't like the ricer sound I was getting at higher RPM's. Even with a resonator I still get some of that sound so I am planning on changing out the muffler.

yes i got only 1 header. i just cut and pasted that from site. now the slp on you malibu at idle can you hear it at all.

why wouldnt i put the tape on the header?

and yest turbo is going on my new motor im building. not going to put it in untill 100k. im at 12k right now. so turbo is very very far down the line.

You can still hear the rumble at idle, it just isn't very loud. The only reason I got a resonator is because I hated the sound I got at above 2,000 RPMs(the ricer sound).

The reason you don't want the header tape on is because it keeps moisture in and it would rust out a header.

Tape holds moisture on the header and causes it to rust. Also, it voids the warranty of the header.

Must not have come stock like that.... i dont know of any headers that have a wrap on them... heat shields yes, but no wrap.. not only with your header rust , it can cause it to warp since your holding all the heat in.
